Preliminary Matters/Consent Agenda

Preliminary Matters:

The Obion County Board of Education will meet in regular session June 26, 2018, at Obion County Board of Education at 5:00 p.m. 

Consent Agenda (Item V.):

Board Policy #2.401 provides, “The director of schools is authorized to accept gifts to the school system and may designate others to accept gifts for particular schools on behalf of the Board. The Board will officially express appreciation to the donor and all major gifts will be reported to the Board and publicly announced.”

The individual school reported receiving the following gifts during the 2017 – 2018 school year:

Black Oak Elementary
Hillcrest Elementary
Lake Road Elementary
Obion County Central High School
Ridgemont Elementary
South Fulton Elementary
South Fulton Middle High School


On behalf of the Board and our school administrators, we sincerely appreciate the gifts made to our schools during the 2017 – 2018 school year.

 

Background Information:

The consent agenda consists of the monthly personnel report and the monthly financial reports/business activity.

 

 

 

Staff Recommendation:

We recommend approval of all items listed on the consent agenda.
